Young Dog Course
(Compulsory) Young Dog Course to help you grow as a Team
Help, a pubescent dog!
A customer once wrote to me so beautifully "He seems to have decided overnight that consequences are uninteresting and he now wants to do what he wants... I could shoot him to the moon right now!" - oh yes, welcome to puberty!
The young dog phase begins between the ages of 6 and 12 months and can last until they are two years old. During this time, your sweet, docile puppy becomes a "teenager" who suddenly seems to forget everything he has learned and tests his limits. This phase is completely normal - even if it can be challenging and cost a lot of nerves.
The good thing is that it also brings many opportunities for you and your dog. Our young dog course will guide you through this exciting time with humor, composure and a clear plan.

Goals & Topics of the course
What you will learn
Attention & Orientation
Your dog will learn to orient himself toward you – even in exciting situations. We'll reinforce recall, leash walking, and "stay" so you can travel together safely and relaxed.
Understanding and meaningful learning
How does your dog learn – and why some methods work better than others? You'll learn how rewards work, how to use timing and consistency effectively, and how to make training fair, clear, and effective.
Body language & communication
Dogs communicate with their bodies – we'll show you how to recognize these signals, correctly interpret them, and respond accordingly. This builds understanding and trust on both sides.
Coping with unwanted behavior
Barking, jumping, defending resources? You'll learn to understand and analyze such behaviors and lovingly and effectively change them with appropriate strategies.
Social behavior & dog contacts
We focus on controlled and positive interactions with other dogs. You'll learn when your dog needs support—and how to provide security so that he can interact calmly.
Impulse control & frustration tolerance
Many young dogs react impulsively or impatiently. Together, we train them to wait, endure stimuli, and calmly deal with minor disappointments – for more balance.
Mastering everyday life and the environment with confidence
Whether in a café, on the tram, or at the vet: We practice typical everyday situations, practice medical training, swapping, and letting go – and give you tools for more serenity in everyday life.
Bonding & meaningful activity
Through shared learning, clear communication, and small tasks like search games or trick-taking, your bond grows. This turns training into real relationship building with a fun factor.
